Turkey’s electricity supply security and Akbelen

A report by the Chamber of Electrical Engineers (EMO) and the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers (MMO) demonstrates that the closure of the Yatağan, Yeniköy, and Kemerköy thermal power plants will not lead to a national or regional electricity crisis. The current capacity across the country and the up-to-date structure of the electrical grid are at a sufficient level to ensure supply security.
