Whilst the economy grew by 2.3 per cent in the second quarter, the share of labour fell to 38.1 per cent, and consumption and investment slowed. There are no pay rises for wage earners, but there are interest rate cuts, loans and incentives for capital.

Compared with the first quarter of the year, a 1.1 per cent growth was recorded.
