Interview with Klasna Solidarnost | A historical experience in Serbia: the student list and the limits of liberal democracy

Whilst we may not be satisfied with the parliamentary transition, its impact is clear: the Assemblies have achieved what no party had managed in 14 years—they have overthrown the SNS regime. This is no conspiracy. There may well have been individuals with a political agenda and domestic and foreign bourgeois actors within the Assemblies; however, the outcome is not a ‘psychological operation’, but a genuine reflection of the ideological consensus amongst students and, likely, broader sections of society.
