From Istanbul to Van, from Izmir to Artvin, the country speaks with one voice: You cannot silence us!

Citizens took to the streets yesterday against the increasing pressure and unlawful practices targeting the press in order to cover up the collapse taking place in the country. At demonstrations held at the call of professional press organisations, it was emphasised that imprisoned journalists must be released and the public’s right to information would be defended, and it was declared that the struggle would be intensified.
