YENİ Party leader Özel spoke to BirGün

Speaking to BirGün, YENİ Party Chair Özel said, regarding the ruling of absolute nullity: “If the Court of Cassation fails to mend this rift, there will be no such thing as public order left in Turkey. We will not return to the CHP, but we cannot accept the CHP being plundered; we want it to be restored to a healthy structure,’ he said. Noting that the YENİ Party is funded by its members, Özel stated, We are not shackled. Our doors are open to all democrats. The need for a social alliance is a duty before us,” he said.
